From create to results

Order​

  1. Create a blank tuning on Tunings, or create a test tuning when you have the action permission.
  2. Open that tuning’s workspace.
  3. Fill Runtime and Problem on Common, then save.
  4. Add and select algorithm instances on Algorithm, then save.
  5. Start the run from the workspace. Unsaved Common or Algorithm drafts block start.
  6. Watch the current run on Monitor.
  7. Open a past run on History. Send selected iterations to Time series when you need process values.

Two tuning kinds​

A blank create is an online tuning. You type the name. A test tuning needs the matching action permission. Its default name is Test-VirtualPlant. You may rename it. A test report is available only on test tunings.

A test tuning writes a recipe aligned with the VirtualPlant point table. VirtualPlant does not have to be online at create time.
